Chassis & Cable Management Options
Depending on your needs, MAXNET offers standard active and active powered chassis (5RU) along with passive chassis (1RU, 3RU, 5RU). Choose from an assortment of cable management selections including trays, ears, and bars.

24V, 3.6A hot-swappable, power supplies typically power up to eight MAXNET active modules (amplifiers/switches). Both AC and –48V powering versions are available. Redundancy is automatically implemented when two power supplies are engaged into the MAXNET chassis. A remote powering unit is also available to enable MAXNET chassis powering from independent power supplies and/or from other MAXNET power supplies. An active chassis is required.

Hot-swappable amplifiers come in a variety of technology offerings such as GaAs PD, Si PP/PD, and GaAs IC. Amplifiers include forward combining, forward dual hybrid, high gain, narrowcast QAM, and return amplifications. Frequencies are available up to 1 GHz. An active chassis and powering is required.

The MAXNET RF Detector/Switch accommodates redundant amplification and RF detector A/B switch applications. When the RF power drops below a user-defined threshold, the RF signal is switched to a secondary path. A front panel LED and rear terminal block with normally open contacts provide alarming functionality. An active chassis is required.

Dual A/B Switch
Two A/B switches enclosed in one module offer local and remote switching capabilities via a front panel push button or logic control signal. A front LED and normally open contact indicate the switch status. An active chassis is required.

Passive modules include multiple configurations of splitters, combiners, broadcast/narrowcast combiners, DCs, filters, and a signal conditioning (pad/EQ) module. All splitting, combining, and DC modules are equipped with plug-in pads and EQs (where applicable).

Connector & Terminator Options
MAXNET’s digital-ready, high performance F or BNC connectors are available to choose from. Terminator options include F and BNC. Predetermined unused ports can be terminated at factory. To ensure quality BNC performance, use ATX’s COMPRESSOR headend BNC connectors and terminators.
