Ken started his career in the telecommunications industry over 35 years ago with Bell Canada. His background includes 10 years in technical operations in the Canadian cable industry with 20 years in senior executive leadership roles with respected companies such as CUC Broadcasting, Trillium Communications, and Capella Telecommunications Inc. Ken has a wealth of experience creating and managing corporate growth, including direct involvement with 10 acquisitions in the cable industry. Ken joined ATX Networks as President in 1999. Since then, he has been instrumental in bringing the Company to its present state of dynamic and continued growth.
Christina joined ATX in 2004 as the Director of Finance. Since 2008, Christina has served as the company’s senior financial officer overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and internal control activities, as well as the business operations. Christina was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations in 2009. Prior to joining ATX, Christina built her diverse financial and operational experience as Director of Accounting Services at a Toronto-based accounting firm. Christina graduated with a degree in Economics from York University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
As a leading-edge product developer and strategic thinker, Jay has contributed greatly to ATX Networks’ ability to deliver both innovative and effective technology solutions for customers. Along with Ken Wildgoose, Jay has been a key catalyst for the Company’s growth. Jay joined ATX in 1998 as R&D Engineer and Business Development Manager. He was promoted to Vice President of Engineering and Business Development in 2000. Jay brings a highly specialized technical skill set to ATX, combined with a keen understanding of the broadband business environment. Jay was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2008. Previous to joining ATX, Jay worked as an Engineer for Schlumberger (wire-line services for the oil and gas industry) and Siemens (formerly Milltronics) as an R&D Design Engineer. Jay holds Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Engineering from Queen’s University.
Ruth joined ATX in 2000 as Marketing Manager and was promoted to Director of Marketing one year later. Ruth’s management, marketing, sales, and product development experience make her an important member of the ATX Senior Management Team. Ruth was promoted to Vice President of Marketing in 2004. Before joining ATX, Ruth was highly successful in building customer-oriented marketing strategies and programs for Quebecor, Hubbell Canada Inc. and Comlink Systems (now a division of Cygnal Technologies). In her challenging role at ATX Networks, Ruth oversees the diverse marketing efforts of all of the Company’s products and brands. Ruth is a graduate from Queen’s University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Ben joined ATX Networks in 2000 as a Staff Engineer. In this role, Ben developed an intimate knowledge of ATX’s product offerings and of the cable television industry. He was soon promoted to Business Development Engineer to manage customer and OEM relationships. After many successful endeavors, Ben joined the Sales Team as a Regional Sales Manager. In 2006, Ben was promoted to Director of Sales and assumed full leadership for the Sales Organization in 2008. In 2016, Ben was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales. He brings a strong balance of technical and sales knowledge to this role. Prior to joining ATX, Ben worked in sales for a major Canadian packaged goods company. Ben is a graduate from Queen’s University with a degree in Engineering.
Brad joined ATX in 1999 as an RF Engineer and developed an intimate knowledge of the Company’s technology and operations. Brad was promoted to Business Development Engineer in 2007. In this role, he developed essential relationships with ATX’s customers, sales teams and manufacturing partners. In 2010, Brad was promoted to Director of Business Development for RF and Optics. Following the continued growth of ATX Networks (including considerable international growth) Brad was promoted to Vice President of Business Development for RF and Optical Solutions in 2013, and Vice President of Access Network Products in 2016. Brad is a Professional Engineer and has a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University.
Derek joined the ATX team in 2013. He was tasked with the responsibility for the planning and execution of an integrated operating strategy leading the Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, and IT Services functions for all ATX locations. Derek has over 20 years of experience in global electronics manufacturing from Celestica. In his most recent position as the Vice President and General Manager of Global Business Units, Derek was the primary executive customer interface with accountability for overall strategic, sales, business development, financial, supply chain and operational performance for his assigned global business units. His wealth of expertise will serve him well as ATX continues to grow and evolve. Derek is a Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
After his graduate studies in Electro-physics, Mani joined Synchronous Communications and developed optical amplifiers and CATV transmitters. As Chief Technology Officer, Mani led Synchronous through a decade of rapid growth and innovation from 1991 to 2001, when Motorola acquired Synchronous. Mani then led the Optics Center of Excellence for Motorola from 2002 to 2005, focusing on 10G optical transport and FTTH solutions. In 2006, Mani founded InnoTrans. As Chief Executive Officer, Mani led the rapid growth and expansion of InnoTrans to include the tier one cable MSOs. As a technologist with roughly 15 patents, Mani is an acknowledged pioneer and visionary in the CATV optical networks space.
Trinda joined ATX in 2006 as Human Resources Manager. Trinda brings many years of human resources management expertise within the Canadian and U.S. Manufacturing and Technology sectors. Trinda was promoted to Director of Human Resources and Administration in 2008 and, following the continued growth of the Company, was promoted to Vice President in 2012. Trinda is responsible for the transactional and strategic human resource initiatives, intellectual property maintenance and administration services for ATX. Prior to joining ATX, Trinda was the Human Resources Manager for RR Donnelley and Sons (formerly Moore Business Forms). Trinda is a graduate of Durham College’s Human Resources Management Program. She is also a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).
Linas joined ATX in 2005 as a Business Development Engineer. He applied his technical background and business education towards developing and bringing a variety of new ATX products to market in the WiFi, telephony, and digital video spaces. Linas was instrumental in the development of ATX’s Bulk Transition line of products. Having successfully driven the continued growth of that product line, he was promoted to Director of Business Development, Digital Video Systems in 2010. Having amassed significant industry and video network architecture knowledge, Linas was promoted to Vice President of Business Development for Digital Video Products and Solutions in 2013. In this present role, Linas leads ATX’s digital video product development team, as well as helping shape the Company’s digital video related business and product strategy. Linas is a graduate of Queen’s University with an M.B.A. in Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
