Charlie joined ATX in 2018 after proving himself as a dynamic and results-oriented information technology and communications leader. Charlie’s exceptional 30 year track record involves executing visionary strategies resulting in unprecedented growth in communications markets. Prior to joining ATX, Charlie spent four successful years as President and CEO of Imagine Communications, where he transformed the company from Harris Broadcast to Imagine Communications and GatesAir, and led the media and broadcast industry’s transition to IP, software and cloud technologies. His professional career also included leadership roles at GENBAND, Taqua and Santera Systems (Tekelec), Accelerated Networks (Calix Networks), Lucent (Alcatel), Ascend (Lucent), ADTRAN, Motorola and IBM. Charlie is a graduate from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Computer Science.
Christina joined ATX in 2004 as the Director of Finance. Since 2008, Christina has served as the company’s senior financial officer overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and internal control activities, as well as the business operations. Christina was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations in 2009. Prior to joining ATX, Christina built her diverse financial and operational experience as Director of Accounting Services at a Toronto-based accounting firm. Christina graduated with a degree in Economics from York University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Trinda provides strategic management of all global human resource initiatives, corporate services and facilities to foster a high-performing workforce, unified culture and employer brand reflective of the technology sector in which we operate. Trinda joined ATX in 2006 as Human Resources Manager and brings many years of human resources management expertise within the Canadian and U.S. Manufacturing and Technology sectors. Trinda was promoted to Director of Human Resources and Administration in 2008 and, following the continued growth of the Company, was promoted to Vice President in 2012. Prior to joining ATX, Trinda was the Human Resources Manager for RR Donnelley and Sons (formerly Moore Business Forms). Trinda is a graduate of Durham College’s Human Resources Management Program. She is also a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).
A technology luminary and thought-leader, Mani provides the vision and leadership driving the company’s long-term technology strategy in the Access Infrastructure industry. In 2006 Mani founded InnoTrans and led its rapid growth and expansion to include Tier I Cable MSOs before its acquisition by ATX in 2016. As a technologist with roughly 15 patents, Mani is an acknowledged pioneer and visionary in the CATV optical networks space. After his graduate studies in Electro-physics, Mani joined Synchronous Communications and developed optical amplifiers and CATV transmitters. As Chief Technology Officer, Mani led Synchronous through a decade of rapid growth and innovation from 1991 to 2001, when Motorola acquired Synchronous. Mani then led the Optics Center of Excellence for Motorola from 2002 to 2005, focusing on 10G optical transport and FTTH solutions.
Jay is responsible for innovative product management and development for all legacy RF, HFC, Head-End and Optical Access products. Possessing a highly specialized technical skill set combined with a keen understanding of the broadband business environment, Jay has contributed greatly to ATX Networks’ ability to deliver both innovative and effective technology solutions and has been a key catalyst for the Company’s growth since joining in 1998. Jay assumed the role of Vice President of Engineering and Business Development in 2000 and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2008. Prior to joining ATX, Jay worked as an Engineer for Schlumberger (wire-line services for the oil and gas industry) and Siemens (formerly Milltronics) as an R&D Design Engineer. Jay holds Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Engineering from Queen’s University.
As Chief Product Officer, Ian drives ATX’s innovation and development activities, with a particular focus on Gateway products including MSO/Telco, Satellite, Radio and DVIS. A visionary technologist, Ian co-founded X-Digital Systems, which merged with Pico Macom to form Pico Digital in 2010, and was acquired by ATX in 2016. Prior to founding X-Digital Systems, Ian was Executive Vice President and co-founder of StarGuide Digital Networks, a provider of satellite and Internet transmission and distribution systems for the radio industry. At StarGuide, Ian led business development efforts that expanded the company’s reach into Japan while securing business with the major networks across the U.S. radio industry. A registered co-holder of more than 15 U.S. and international patents, Ian earned degrees in Computer Engineering and Middle East Politics from University of California San Diego.
Leveraging emerging technologies and strategic partnerships to bring the newest innovations to the global market, Andrew is responsible for defining ATX’s long-term technology vision for Gateway solutions. A member of the Pico Digital team since 2013, was responsible for Pico’s overall product strategy and has more than 15 years’ experience in developing CPE and headend products for cable, satellite, terrestrial and IPTV applications. His career history includes six years as Chief Technologist and then Chief Technical Engineer at Pace Networks, a business unit of Pace, where he was responsible for the full business life cycle from initial concept, through funding, prototyping and development to sales and deployment. Andrew holds a first class honors degree in Electronics with Computing from UCLAN and an MBA from the University of Bradford, School of Management.
Carlos leads the global supply chain, procurement, customer service, and professional services of ATX along with responsibility for global integration efforts. Carlos was the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Pico Macom which merged with X-Digital Systems and Standard Communications in 2010 to form Pico Digital. As President of Pico Digital, he played a key role in repositioning the company as an international technology company. Carlos earned his degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
John joins ATX from GENBAND and will assume the role of Chief Sales Officer on March 12th leading our Global Sales Organization. John brings over 30 years of global sales leadership and experience to ATX and an impressive resume revitalizing and growing companies to new levels of profitability. Prior to GENBAND, John led Global Sales with ADC/Kentrox and Veraz Networks, and earlier in his career held senior sales positions with optical innovator Corvis and Nortel Networks. John holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix combined with an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Technology from DeVry University.
Ben joined ATX Networks in 2000 as a Staff Engineer. In this role, Ben developed an intimate knowledge of ATX’s product offerings and of the cable television industry. He was soon promoted to Business Development Engineer to manage customer and OEM relationships. After many successful endeavors, Ben joined the Sales Team as a Regional Sales Manager. In 2006, Ben was promoted to Director of Sales and assumed full leadership for the Sales Organization in 2008. In 2016, Ben was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales. He brings a strong balance of technical and sales knowledge to this role. Prior to joining ATX, Ben worked in sales for a major Canadian packaged goods company. Ben is a graduate from Queen’s University with a degree in Engineering.
Kim joins ATX Networks as Executive Vice President of Marketing, leading global marketing, communications, product branding and positioning strategy. Kim has spent her entire 25 year career in the high-tech market and has played a strategic and leadership role evolving and transforming market-leading brands such as Ericsson and GENBAND in the advanced wireless, optical, IP and signalling technology arenas. Prior to joining ATX, Kim led the Marketing efforts of Harris Broadcast, executing an extensive corporate re-brand and successfully launching two new brand identities: Imagine Communications and GatesAir.
