ATX offers a multitude of products to support the deployment of Fiber-To-The-Premise (FTTP) technologies. One of the key network technologies supported by ATX is Radio Frequency over Glass (RFoG). ATX offers RFoG solutions that are either all passive or incorporate a remote, field-hardened RFOG repeater. Chromadigm high Optical Modulation Index (OMI) transmitters are ideal for delivering exceptional MER performance with the low optical receive input levels associated with RFoG networks. Transmitter options with integrated EDFA and WDM filters simplify installations and increase reliability by eliminating multiple modules being interconnected with fiber jumpers. In addition, ATX’s FTTP solutions also support PON overlay deployments by providing EDFAs and RFoG repeaters with PON pass-through ports in both the ATX I-HUB and TranScend product lines. To simplify installations, RFoG and RFoG/PON modules are available with integrated filters to separate and combine downstream and upstream RFoG/PON wavelengths. High power, multi-port EDFAs are also available for non-DOCSIS® PON RF video overlay applications. These EDFAs are available with internal WDM filters for connection to PON OLTs, saving space and eliminating additional fiber jumpers.
Reclaim valuable rack space!
Space in headends and hub sites is a growing concern for operators as they deploy more capacity into their networks. As more nodes are segmented and service groups are added, more space is taken up. ATX can reclaim rack space. Learn more about this solution. >
