“True Full Spectrum” Narrowcasting in DWDM Multi-Wavelength Transmission

Elimination of the Common Content Restriction

ATX’s ChromaMax transmission technology removes the narrowcast bandwidth limitation in DWDM transmission networks because of the requirement to have common content from 50-270 MHz due to SRS cross talk. ChromaMax’s unique technology is dispersion independent. It enables the spectrum from 54-270 MHz to also be used for unique narrowcasted services, thus expanding a 750 MHz network by greater than 35%, an 870 MHz network by 30%, and a 1 GHz network by 25%. In addition, ChromaMax technology is a highly cost-effective solution to unleash bandwidth at a time when operators are looking for additional narrowcast spectrum to deploy DOCSIS® 3.1 services.

Reclaim valuable rack space!

Space in headends and hub sites is a growing concern for operators as they deploy more capacity into their networks. As more nodes are segmented and service groups are added, more space is taken up.  ATX can reclaim rack space. Learn more about this solution. >
