VMX1-1: High-Definition MPEG-2/4 QAM Set-Top Box With Verimatrix® CAS

Part of ATX’s all-digital CONDOR solution, the VMX1-1 HD QAM set-top box descrambles signals from the CONDOR headend while converting digital signals to analog for display on legacy TVs. The unit is equipped with a single tuner for the recording of one TV channel and features Verimatrix® CAS for content protection. Offering HDMI and composite outputs, the unit provides PVR/media player capabilities, Electronic Program Guide (EPG) support, and an intuitive high-definition interface for ease of use. The VMX1-1 can be deployed as a stand-alone solution for non-encrypted clear QAM applications.
